Zenki (1995), conocido en Japón como Kishin Dōji Zenki, es un anime de acción sobrenatural basado en el manga de Yoshihiro Kuroiwa. La historia sigue a Cherry Night (Chiaki Enno), descendiente del hechicero Ozuno, quien invoca al demonio guardián Zenki para combatir las semillas del mal que amenazan con destruir el mundo. Zenki, inicialmente sellado por su naturaleza violenta, despierta con un poder descomunal para enfrentar fuerzas oscuras.
En México, Zenki se transmitió con doblaje latino a partir de 2003, destacando por su intensidad visual, batallas épicas y una narrativa que mezcla mitología japonesa con acción demoníaca. El doblaje fue realizado por Larsa, con voces como José Arenas (Zenki adulto) y Alma Wilheleme (Cherry), lo que le dio un tono dramático y memorable. Esta serie se convirtió en un referente del anime noventero para los fans latinoamericanos.
