Digimon Frontier (2002), también conocida como Digimon 4, es la cuarta serie de anime de la franquicia Digimon, producida por Toei Animation y dirigida por Yukio Kaizawa. Emitida por Fuji TV entre abril de 2002 y marzo de 2003, consta de 50 episodios que presentan una narrativa independiente, distinta de las temporadas anteriores. En esta entrega, los Niños Elegidos no tienen Digimon compañeros, sino que se transforman directamente en Digimon mediante Espíritus Digitales.
La historia sigue a Takuya, Koji, Zoe, JP y Tommy, quienes reciben un misterioso mensaje que los transporta al Digimundo. Allí descubren los D-Tectors, dispositivos que les permiten canalizar los Espíritus Digitales y convertirse en los Guerreros Legendarios. Juntos deben enfrentar a Kerpymon y al corrompido Lucemon para salvar el Digimundo. En Latinoamérica, fue transmitida por Jetix y Fox Kids, convirtiéndose en un clásico entre los fans del anime de aventuras y evolución espiritual.
