Marsupilami es una serie animada basada en el personaje creado por André Franquin en 1952. Su primera versión televisiva apareció en 1992 como parte de Raw Toonage y luego como serie propia en CBS (1993), producida por Disney. Esta etapa presentaba a Marsupilami junto a Maurice el gorila, Stewart el elefante y el cazador Norman, en aventuras cómicas con estética selvática exagerada.
La segunda versión, emitida entre 2000 y 2002 en Europa, se acercó más al cómic original, ambientada en la selva de Palombia con la familia marsupilami y un tono más ecológico y familiar. Ambas series comparten el carisma del personaje: una criatura con cola elástica, habilidades extraordinarias y grito característico: “¡Houba!”
